Silver Harbour Seniors’ Activity Centre

is a non-profit organization providing a gathering place, recreational activities, and social services for seniors on the North Shore. We offer 70 different activities including physical fitness, sports, arts, games, languages, computers, special events, outings, and informative workshops. We also provide a number of important services such as legal advice, low-cost meals, affordable clothing and household goods, and transportation. In addition, we offer many volunteer opportunities for people of all ages. Silver Harbour is operated by a small staff team, a committed board, and a large number of volunteers.

The Seniors’ Hub

Seniors Helping Seniors

Cap Services Seniors’ Hub is operated by a small team of dedicated staff and large team of carefully screened volunteers, many of whom are seniors themselves. These individuals are committed to enriching the lives and promoting the independence of frail seniors, who wish to remain in their own homes, but need a little help to do so.

The Seniors’ Hub has designed and operates a number of successful programs. These programs help seniors to extend their social networks, make new friends, remain connected to their community and have a good time with lots of laughter.

Programs are provided at little or no fee and transportation is provided where needed. Donations are gratefully accepted to help offset program costs. (We will provide a tax receipt for amounts over $10).
